The new Pulsar Evolution family consists of 6 models and includes "best-in-class" rack-optimized units, requiring only 1U (1.75") of rack space up to 1500VA and 2U (3.5") only up to 3000 VA. The 1U ultra-thin format, which is becoming a de facto standard for any device that is installed in a rack, was in the past only available up to 500 VA in traditional UPSs. MGE's innovative design moves the power density up three fold to a world record. The Pulsar Evolution 1500 VA UPS has plenty of power to backup four or five ultra-thin, 1U PC servers or a departmental storage system.
